SYNOPSIS-Buhran is a name and process.as a name,Buhran is understood as the Naya Muluk(i.e. newly annexed areas in Far Western Nepal):Banke,Bardiya,Kailali and Kanchanpur.As a process,Buhran is understood as migration from dang to Naya Muluk.Encroachment started in this peaceful community when hill people started to migrate in Dang.This encroachment reached to its highest point when Malaria was eradicated in 2018 B.S.and hill people start to influx in Dang.Land Reform Act 2022 B.S. also helped their migration to Dang.Tharu (indigenous people)who used to live peacefully in their territory were ignorant about education and unknown to politics.Taking advantage of their ignorance,hill people started to grab and make their land in their names.They provided tharu with loan and whan they could not pay back the loan,they keep them as Kamaiya(i.e.bondage labour).They also played other tricks to keep them as Kamaiya.All the circumstances become so severe that do not have any other option than to become Kamaiya for their whole life.The land in which Tharu used to tend as owner had become servant.Yesterdays landlords changed into tenants.Fed up with their situation,they started to migrate towards Buhran.In their language migration is called chhara.The process of chhara started from 1961 A.D. to 1981 A.D..
